TASK:

Imagine you wake up one morning and discover that you have a superpower—but there’s a catch! Your power only works in the most unexpected or funny way. Describe what your superpower is, how it works, and what happens when you try to use it.

Guidelines to follow:

• Write at least 15 sentences using complete sentences.

• Use a mix of simple, compound, and complex sentences.

• Try to include at least one question and one exclamation in your writing.

• Make sure each sentence has a subject and a verb and that it makes sense when read aloud.

After you’re done read it to mom and have her check it!
